Or for the humans who buy them? What Roii Taught Us When Roii first came home, he was still recovering from a long illness. After months of treatment, he survived — but lost all of his teeth along the way. We tried buying him beautiful pet beds and soft little nests, hoping they would make him feel comfortable and safe. That was when we understood something important. Roii didn’t care how something looked. He only cared how it felt. Their vision is more limited in range, and many red or highly saturated tones appear much less vivid to them — often fading into muted, indistinct shades.
